Thanks for reaching out to Zendesk Support, my name is Russell and I will be assisting on this ticket, I hope you are doing well!

I’m sorry to hear that you are having issues signing into your Zendesk account via the Google Auth SSO. Looking into this issue and checking the error of Authorisation Error 400, this is to do with the set up of an account’s connected apps and Google API settings. To set expectations, this would be an issue with Google and not Zendesk so in an attempt to resolve the issue, could you please try whitelisting your connected apps by following the steps provided in this article below:

Now having said all that, I did some outside research and found some articles from Google and third party companies that have faced this issue before and this is what they have recommended for steps of resolution:

  1. Log in to the Google Admin console.
  2. From the Home page, go to   Security  API controls.
  3. Under App access control, click MANAGE THIRD-PARTY APP ACCESS.
  4. Add a filter to find the Zendesk app in the list. Enter Zendesk” in the Contains field, and click APPLY.
  5. Check the box for Zendesk and click Change access
  6. Choose the Trusted option to allow access to all Google services.
  7. Click CHANGE.

If you need further guidance around this, I managed to find a third party video tutorial here that walks through these particular steps. Again to set expectations, this is outside of scope troubleshooting of Zendesk Support where these methods are from third party places.
